Which intimate wash to choose ? Think to the physiological pH

Vulvar and vaginal areas are particularly sensitive: they are lined with a protective bacterial flora that must be preserved. This naturally occurring flora must not be disturbed because it prevents the development of pathogenic bacteria and, therefore, genital infections such as cystitis or mycoses. An important factor in maintaining this flora is its pH: in fact, the bacteria that makes up the intimate protective flora develop in an acid medium (with a pH around 5), so it is important to use a specific cleaning product with a pH close to 5 that respects the intimate environment, so as not to disrupt the bacterial flora.

The vulvar area is also subjected to many daily aggressions: rubbing clothes, moisture etc. It is important to use an intimate cleansing gel that is the least aggressive possible to protect this already sensitive area. Fragrances (which often contain alcohol) are particularly irritating.

Why use Clarigyna to clean your Claricup?

Menstrual cups are made of silicone or TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomer). But these materials are porous. This means that by using an unsuitable cleaner, the components in your cleanser (dyes, fragrances, endocrine disruptors, etc.) may leave residue on the surface of your menstrual cup which then remains in prolonged contact with your vaginal mucosa.

That's why Laboratoire Claripharm created Clarigyna intimate shower gel, which respects your vaginal flora and can also clean your menstrual cup. It doesn’t contain alcohol, fragrance, dyes or parabens, and our formula is as neutral as possible thanks to its pH of 5.5. So you can clean your Claricup with peace of mind with Clarigyna intimate shower gel.
